Course Description

The Core Skill Think is a child's ability to think deeply about and make sense of the world around them. This includes observing, investigating, imitating, and thinking critically about what they encounter and experience.

In this course, you’ll get to know each skill in more detail and see what they look like in action. Along the way, we’ll highlight STREAMin3 strategies and curriculum components you can use to support young children in their development.

This course includes 6 learning modules that cover the following topics:

  • An Introduction to Think
  • Imitation and Symbolic Representation
  • Active Exploration
  • Inquiry
  • Reasoning
  • Problem-Solving with Tasks

 Each module

  • Explores a routine using lessons, activities, and short quizzes.
  • Takes about 20 minutes to complete.  
  • Tracks your progress, so you can pick back up where you left off.
